About me.
My journey to becoming a therapist has been anything but conventional, but every step along the way has given me a deeper understanding of human resilience, transformation, & the power of healing. I began my professional path at the University of Michigan, where I majored in psychology, driven by a fascination with the mind & human behavior.
I went on to graduate from the USC School of Medicine & completed my residency at UCLA, eventually working as a physician at Cedars-Sinai for over a decade. While I excelled in medicine, I found myself unfulfilled—overworked, disconnected, & searching for something more meaningful.
Seeking purpose, I pivoted toward my creative passions, becoming a writer & musician. However, during this transition, I lost my way & fell into addiction. It was through recovery & self-discovery that I found my true calling: helping others navigate their struggles.
I returned to school, earning a Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University, & trained at the Southern California Counseling Center prior to stepping into my current career as a licensed therapist. For the past 9 years, I’ve dedicated myself to clinical psychology, specializing in:
✔ Addictions (drugs, alcohol, pills, gambling, sex, food, shopping, gaming, social media)
✔ Sports Psychology and performance coaching
✔ Child & Adolescent Therapy
✔ Parenting & Family Conflict
✔ Relationship Issues & Narcissistic Personality Abuse
✔ Anxiety, Depression & Coping Skills
✔ Career Counseling & Life Transitions
✔ Divorce, Grief, & Infertility
✔ Geriatric & Senior Mental Health
✔ Peer Relationships & School Issues
✔ Self-Esteem & Self-Harm
✔ Spirituality & Personal Growth
✔ Substance Use & Teen Violence
✔ Thinking Disorders & Mental Health Challenges
My approach is evidence-based, innovative, & tailored to each client, blending professional expertise with personal experience to foster real growth & transformation. I understand that healing isn’t just about overcoming obstacles—it’s about building a fulfilling, empowered life.
Beyond therapy, I am an avid sports fan, a writer & musician, & an animal lover with a dog of my own. I believe in the power of resilience, self-discovery, & finding joy in the process of growth—& I’m here to help you do the same.
